Queen Elizabeth, 91, has reigned for nearly 66 years after taking the throne on 6 February 1952.

Throughout the years, she has visited many countries on state visits, with Canada being the place she has frequented most often, likely because of it being part of the Commonwealth.

With the pressure of travelling, Her Royal Majesty also relies on a number of things when she travels, with one being a particular suitcase brand.

But what does she use whenever she is abroad? She uses one British brand with over 120 years of history.

The Queen often uses Globe-Trotter suitcases when travelling, with the British brand originating in 1897.

Created in Germany, it moved to the UK in 1932 and all of the luggage collections are created in Hertfordshire, England.

A classic original suitcase, similar to ones that are seen to hold the Queen’s luggage tag, costs £970.

The website reads: “HM Queen Elizabeth II chose Globe-Trotter for her honeymoon luggage in 1947 and continues to use her cases to this day.”

Her honeymoon was to Broadlands in Hampshire and Birkhall Estate in Scotland with her husband Prince Philip. They have been married for over 70 years.

She isn’t the only famous name to use the iconic suitcase brand.

Winston Churchill also used one of their items, the Globe-Trotter Dispatch Case when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1924.

The luxury suitcase was also spotted in Bond film Spectre, which James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, is seen to use.

Queen Elizabeth relies on other British brands when travelling, with one including a particular range of tea.

The 91-year-old relies on Twinings Earl Grey tea when away from home.

Made especially for her, the brand creates a unique blend that is only available to the Queen.

She takes it without milk or sugar and drinks it as it is out of a china cup.

Queen Elizabeth even has her own monogrammed kettle.
