It comes into force tonight, but whilst all the news agencies list PayPal as an example of surcharging, I can’t see anything about changes on their site.
Anyone have more information?

You aren’t charged a specific fee for using a CC with PayPal though?
You are if you send money using either a debit or credit card.
I never have been? Used both at one time or another

The article I saw said that the ban was o hidden fees. So a fee that is charged at the end of the process during payment.
There was no mention that it had to be removed or reduced just on the price from the start.
No one will be getting a better deal from this... the crappy companies that surcharge will still charge

Except the retailers, as it gets added to the price for everyone, not just those using a CC...
I believe either just eat or one of the other online takeaway comanies have changed theirs to a “service charge” and provided it’s charged to all customers be it cash, debit or credit they can get around the new legislation

Yep: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42621989
They all need to recoup the costs somehow (not that the cost is as much as 50p), so I would just expect to see prices rise across the board to cover the fees.
