ARLINGTON - Edwin G. 'Ed' Shultz, 77, died Thursday, December 21, 2017. He was born March 10, 1940, in Lindsborg, the son of Lloyd Edwin and Ebba Shultz.

ARLINGTON - Edwin G. 'Ed' Shultz, 77, died Thursday, December 21, 2017. He was born March 10, 1940, in Lindsborg, the son of Lloyd Edwin and Ebba Shultz.
He was a graduate of Pretty Prairie High School and Kansas State University. He belonged to Gama Sigma Delta and Alpha Zeta fraternities.
Ed was a farmer and rancher, serving on several boards, including his church board, Citizens Bank, Ark Valley Electric, Big Bend Water, Arlington Co-Op and Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bruce. He is survived by: his wife of 56 years, Theda; daughter, Dana Schultz(Barry) of Key West, FL; son, Dustin; siblings, Marilyn Meier(Don), Raymond( Evelyn), and Linda Morris (Steve); grandchildren, Elisha, and Christopher Schultz, Brittnay Brooke, Logan, and Trace Shultz.
A celebration of life will be Saturday, March 10, 2017, at Elliott Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Gideons International or Alzheimer's Association, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
