RANGAMATI, Jan 12: The fourth founding anniversary of a social and cultural organisation Udvas was celebrated here on Friday. To mark the day, education materials were distributed among the poor and street students on Rangamati Shishu Niketan School ground in the morning. Firoza Begum Chinu, MP, inaugurated the daylong programmes as chief guest. Among others, Chief Adviser of the organisation Md Mostafa Kamal, Adviser Mostafa Kamal Uddin, Abu Syed, Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Satyajit Barua, President of Udvas Tasnif Haider Nirjan and Mamunur Rashid Jami, were also present. Later, the chief guest distributed the education materials among 200 poor students. Earlier, Feroza Begum Chinu, MP, inaugurated a daylong Pitha Utsab at the same place.
