In this new spy photo, we can see how closely it resembles the larger Grand i10. The trapezoidal grille which is now a family look also makes its way on the car. Like its predecessor, the new Santro has a tall roof and that will certainly translate into a generous amount of headroom for the driver and passengers. The greenhouse is quite big for such a small car and that will have a positive impact on visibility, while the large front and rear doors will boost practicality. Furthermore, the test mule is seen with full wheel cover on steel wheels and this shows that it could be a lower spec model. The top-end is likely to be made available will alloy wheels. The cabin will also come with some modern elements and could possibly include a touchscreen infotainment in the top-end model with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, which will give it a big boost in terms of features.

You can also see in these spy shots as to how high the fog lamps are placed and we do not see any DRLs as of now. On the powertrain front, it is likely to get a 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre engine options with transmission duties to be carried out by a 5-Speed Manual Transmission or an AMT.

The new Hyundai Santro will go up against the likes of the Tata Tiago, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and even the Renault Kwid. Thus we expect it to be priced somewhere around ₹ 3.2 lakh.
