The Jharkhand Government successfully organised first ever Skill Summit in the State in Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium in Khelgaon on Friday on the occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
During this mega event, appointment letters to 27,842 skilled youths were handed over. Also, the State launched State Skill Policy, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the State and five national-international training providers.
Union, State Cabinet Ministers, MPs, MLAs, hundreds of delegates and thousands of job-getters were present at the event. Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Skill Development Dharmendra Pradhan praised the Jharkhand Government for its willingness to take all Central Government plans seriously and trying to implement them.
