Innovative ideas floated at the interactive session and speech competition ‘Mantra for Change’.
On the occasion of the 155th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand, the Student Union of BSSS organised an event 'Mantras for Change' which broadcasted innovative ideas on change for betterment and to create a better society by winning over the lurking challenge of unemployment in the modern scenario.
The event was inaugurated by Principal BSSS, Fr. John PJ. Sarpanch Barkhedi Bhakti Sharma was the chief guest of the occasion. While addressing the students Fr John PJ stressed on the impending need of imbibing Vivekanand’s philosophy in our quest for peace by pursuing the path of spirituality which remains the ultimate preaching of all religion.
All religion preach that to be successful is to be morally upright and carry a sense of goodwill for entire humanity. Rahul Singh Parihaar, Programme Officer NSS, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, addressed the young crowd and encouraged them to fix a target and pursue that target religiously to achieve success. Sarpanch Bhakti Sharma inspired the students to be good citizens and play the role with true sense of patriotism.
At mantras for success, the students spoke about procuring new skills, entrepreneurship, rural indigenous economy, industrial infrastructure, digital world and quality education for creating a well evolved society. In the judges panel Bahkti Sharma, Anuj Garg, Placement Officer LNCT College and Vishal Dixit, Director, VDIEC were present.
The first, second and third positions were bagged by Shraddha from BBA IV Sem, Rishabh Lamba, BBA IV Sem, Anusha Chopra BBA I Year respectively. Cash prizes of Rs 3000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 along with trophies were awarded to the winners by the Vice Principal, Dr. Sr. Lissy Jose. The President Student Union, BSSS, Parthvi Dubey welcomed the guests and successfully coordinated the programme.
