A 57-year-old woman collapsed and died after being evacuated from her burning condominium on Singing Hills Drive in Gunbarrel late Friday night, according to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire, in an eight-unit building in a complex in the 7400 block of Singing Hills Drive, was reported just after 11:15 p.m.
By the time sheriff’s deputies and firefighters arrived, neighbors had helped evacuate two women from inside a unit that was on fire. One of them, a 57-year-old, “collapsed a short time after her evacuation,” according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies and firefighters immediately began CPR, but were unable to revive her. She was pronounced dead around midnight.
