HILARIOUS: Pam Zaring's family photoshoot has gone viral

Pam Zaring from the US paid $250 (£180) for a series of pictures of her family — but the end result was like something out of a horror film.

Although they may look like terrifying putty masks, these are actually the "edited" photos that Pam and her husband Dave were sent.

BIZARRE: Pam paid £180 for the photoshoot

Each family member looks like a Nintendo Wii avatar, with eerily smoothed faces and distorted mouths, eyes and noses.

Sharing the images on her Facebook, Pam said: "Okay. This is not a joke."

She said the photographer had claimed that: "The shadows were really bad," and that "her professor never taught her to retouch photos".

But despite forking out almost £200 for the hilariously bad images, Pam could see the funny side.

Pam hasn't released the details of the photographer — who appears to be called Lesa Hall — and says the £180 was money well spent for how much pleasure they'd brought her.
