(MENAFN) At least thirty people in Ethiopia were ruled to serve an extensive jail sentence for being a part of an illegal group.

The sentenced people were supposedly members of a terrorist group that is devoted to remove the government from power and is named Ginbot 7.

The court ruling occurred only two weeks following the government declaration to releasing a number of politicians who are ahead of being charged with several offenses or already convicted.
