Sanchez transfer choice
06:30: Alexis Sanchez must choose which Manchester club to join.
Manchester United and Manchester City have both made moves for the Arsenal player.
The Gunners are resigned to losing him.
And Express Sport understands Sanchez has now been given a choice: either join United for £35m this January or City for free in the summer.
Both Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola were coy over their interest in the Chilean yesterday.
Redknapp blasts Man Utd proposal
06:15: Jamie Redknapp says Arsenal would be foolish to consider selling Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United.
“For them to finish in the top four this season is not going got be easy, and that's why selling Sanchez to Manchester United would make no sense to me at all,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“Sell him to City. The truth is that Arsenal and Manchester City aren't rivals, but Arsenal are big rivals with United because they are both fighting for those top four spots.
“Wenger has put so much emphasis on finishing in the top four over the years, so why would he now go and strengthen one of his main rivals?”
Henry helps Bournemouth
06:00: Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has helped Bournemouth get ready for Sunday’s clash with the Gunners.
Cherries manager Eddie Howe explained how Henry has spoken to the squad during a recent trip to the south coast.
“We got Thierry in to talk to the players as we do from time to time with various people, not just footballers.
“Thierry was excellent, he spoke at length to the players about his career and how he was so successful. It was a really beneficial talk.
“It was a combination of a lot of things, definitely the mental side, his mental strength and his desire to be the best.
“There were a lot of things in there and if it is just one thing a player finds inspiring then it is beneficial.
“It was interesting to see how the players reacted to what he said and hopefully they took something away not just for now but for the future.”
Arsenal play at Bournemouth at 1.30pm on Sunday.
