Avid fans of Filipino singer-songwriter Cynthia Alexander will converge at the Music Museum to catch her homecoming gig today, Jan. 13. Tickets have sold out, according to the venue’s management.

It’s been five years since Alexander staged a series of farewell concerts around Metro Manila before flying to the United States to settle there.

For the past few weeks, excitement has been building up over Alexander’s show, which will feature songs from her latest album, “Even Such Is Time,” which was bankrolled through crowdfunding, which she referred to as 168 friends from the Philippines, USA, Singapore, Canada, Japan, Guam, and Australia.

The album is available on CD and digital formats, with unlimited streaming via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC, among other formats.

Alexander is a daughter of noted fiction writer Jose Ayala and poet Tita Lacambra, and a sister of another highly regarded singer-songwriter, Joey Ayala.
