LOS ANGELES – Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard said he hopes to be back in action soon after missing the last three games with a strained left shoulder.
"It's nothing serious," Leonard said after the Spurs' 93-81 loss to the Lakers on Thursday night.
Leonard said he suffered the injury when he got hit with an elbow by one of the Phoenix Suns' big men in a game Jan. 5 at the AT&T Center.
Leonard's status for Saturday night's home game against the Denver Nuggets is uncertain. The Spurs are expected to update their injury report Friday afternoon.
