Authorities say a missing man has been found and he is safe.

William Avington Underwood, 70, was last seen leaving Walmart on Academy Drive around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. He was wearing a red long sleeve shirt, jeans and brown loafers.

Authorities did not say where Underwood was found.
