Police: 3 dead after car hits light pole in Chicago, burns

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago police say three people are dead after the car they were riding in crashed into a light pole, flipped onto its roof and burned.

The crash happened shortly after 1 a.m. Friday on the city's Far South Side. Police say the car was traveling at a high speed before the crash.

The identities of the dead weren't immediately released. The crash is under investigation.
