Nashua police arrest six on drug-related charges in Granite Shield operation

NASHUA - Six people were arrested on drug-related charges Thursday as part of the ongoing Granite Shield program, police said.
Michael Docos, 60, of 6 Start St., was charged with possession of heroin and falsifying physical evidence, both felonies, as well as two electronic bench warrants for failing to appear. He was held on $25,000 cash bail.
Joshua Benoit, 21, of 355 Main St., was charged with possession of cocaine and of falsifying physical evidence, both felonies, as well as an electronic bench warrant for failing to appear in Manchester. He was held on $10,000 cash or surety bail.
Brandy Tuttle, 29, of 29 Saltmarsh Road, Gilford, was charged with sale of methamphetamine, a felony. She was held on $20,000 cash or surety bail.
Zachary Varga, 26, of 89 Pine St., Apt. B, was charged with sale of heroin and sale of suboxone, both second-offense felonies. Varga, who was held on $50,000 cash bail, faces enhanced penalties if convicted.
Johnny Reyes, 22, of 155 Chestnut St., was charged with two counts of resisting arrest, Class A misdemeanors, as well as a warrant from Hillsborough County Superior Court. He was held without bail.
Carmelito Escalera, 45, of 59 Factory St., Apt. 304, was charged with possession of cocaine, a felony. He was held on $1,000 cash bail.
All six were scheduled to be arraigned Friday, police said.
