    Premier League clubs are very busy at this time of year, with a hectic fixture schedule including cup ties to deal with - but they still find time for transfers.

    Window activity definitely tends to increase in the last few days though, so as yet there have only been eight signings arriving in the top flight.

    Departures have included Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool to Barcelona, Kevin Mirallas from Everton to Olympiakos and Jake Clarke-Salter from Chelsea to Sunderland.

    Previous years have seen massive January moves such as Fernando Torres quitting Liverpool for Chelsea in 2011 and Juan Mata leaving Stamford Bridge for Manchester United in 2014.
