For fans looking to mingle during the ball game but still follow the action, head to the right field side of Busch Stadium this season to check out what the St. Louis Cardinals are branding the Budweiser Terrace.
“We are excited about this new gathering place at Busch Stadium,” Bill DeWitt III, President of the St. Louis Cardinals, said in a Friday announcement about the new section. “The Budweiser Terrace is designed to be a free attraction for fans looking for a social experience where they can watch the game and connect with other people at the same time.”
The Cardinals removed 1,000 seats from six sections in the upper right field level of the stadium in November to make room for the area. There will be no assigned seats there and space will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The multilevel, 20,000 square-foot area includes two bars, lounge seating, standing areas and a performance stage where live bands and DJs will perform for pre-game and in-game entertainment.
