Thane: A 50-year-old Yogendra Ram lost his life when a car parking shed collapsed during a repairing work at a Seaside building. Another labourer also got injured in the incident who is currently undergoing treatment at Sir Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy (JJ) hospital.

As per the initial information, several labourers were working at the site near Kemps corner, B.D. road, Gaondevi when suddenly, a part of the shed fell down on them. Ram got crushed in it. When he was rushed to JJ hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. Currently, Kishore Ramada who was working with Ram has severely injured his head.

As per doctors who are treating him, he might have developed blood clot in his drain due to the impact but they are still waiting for the CT scan report to come. “His sonography report shows normal but until his CT scan results come out, we can’t say the depth of the impact. But as per our initial medical investigation, we presume, he has developed blood clot in 5. Speaking to FPJ, Ramade said, “I was working there when suddenly, I felt something big fell on me. After that I do not remember anything. When I woke up, I saw I was in the hospital.”
