Union County Sheriff David Taylor reports Brent Tyson Austin, 41, escaped custody Friday at the Union County Courthouse.
Austin is a prisoner of the S.C. Department of Corrections. It is believed he stole a 2000 Dodge Dakota Extended Cap pickup truck during his escape. The vehicle's South Carolina tag is GWT404.
The vehicle has "Intimidator" in red letters across the front windshield. If seen, please contact 911.
