Honolulu police say a fight between crew members on board the Hai Soon 39 led to a fatal stabbing while docked at Pier 10 off Aloha Tower.
A homicide investigation is now underway.
HPD confirms a 911 call reporting the stabbing came in just after midnight Friday.
According to police on the scene, a fight broke out between at least two men and one of the men was stabbed.
The victim is believed to be 59 years old, but has not been identified at this time.
According to Emergency Medical Services, he was treated at the scene and then rushed in critical condition to the Queen's Medical Center with what appeared to be a single stab wound to the chest. Officials say he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the suspect — a 66-year-old man who also hasn't been identified — has been arrested for murder in the second degree.
Homicide detectives are still working the scene, gathering witness statements, and collecting evidence.
