BITCOIN Babe Michaela Juric has made a fortune thanks to the cryptocurrency that saved her life when she bought her first coin in 2013 when the cryptocurrency was only worth $200.

Babe Michaela Juric claims bitcoin saved her life when she bought her first virtual coin in 2013. 

At the time, the cryptocurrency was only worth $200 and Ms Juric said she bought it for all the wrong reasons. 

In an interview with The Project TV, she said: “I was extremely depressed and the whole reason of me purchasing that bitcoin was to use it to buy drugs off the darknet market and the purpose of those drugs was to overdose and commit suicide.”

After her recovery, Ms Juric checked the value of her remaining bitcoin in an attempt to try to commit suicide again. 

She said: “When I went to check on that bitcoin it was actually with the purpose to try and kill myself again. But by that point, the price had risen from $200 and turned into $4000.

“It was extremely lucky and I think if it hadn’t happened I don’t think I would have been here today.

“It changed my life and it saved my life. My story proves that you shouldn’t give up on yourself.”

Since then, Bitcoin Babe’s lifesaving turn-around let her set up her own cryptocurrency trading company. 

Last year, Michaela Juric bought her first house with bitcoin.

Ms Juric admitted: “The fact that I was able to purchase a house outright using bitcoin was an amazing feeling and something I thought I could never achieve.”

When she was asked how she came up with the name of her brand, she said: “I came up with Bitcoin Babe because 93 per cent of my market is male, so Bitcoin Babe, pretty young girl selling bitcoin seemed like the way to go.”

Since the massive surge of the cryptocurrency in 2017, millions of people have joined the crypto-craze.
