Centennial Fuller, a Pontiac man charged with assaulting his girlfriend and cutting off her hair with a knife, is scheduled to return to court Jan. 18.

Pontiac’s 50th District Judge Thomas Preston set the date for a preliminary exam following a probable cause conference on Jan. 11. At the preliminary exam, Preston will decide if there’s enough evidence to move the case to Oakland County Circuit Court for trial.

Fuller, 41, faces multiple felony charges for allegedly beating his girlfriend and threatening to kill her. The alleged attack occurred Dec. 29 at an apartment on N. Edith Street in Pontiac.

Fuller is in the Oakland County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
