Nagalam Street murder suspects arrested

Police say that 2 suspects who were allegedly involved in the recent shooting incident in Nagalam Street in Grandpass have been arrested.

One person named Buddhika Ranga Thisera was killed and 3 others sustained critical injuries in the shooting that took place on 2nd of this month.

Police have also recovered a foreign-made firearm as well.

The suspects aged 24 and 27 are residents of Wellampitiya.

They will be produced before courts today (Jan. 12) and Colombo Crime Division conducts investigations.
