Think ink!

The folks here at The News-Press are curious types, so we want to know about all of that skin art being flashed out there around Southwest Florida these days.

Getting a tattoo is trendy again and behind every tattoo there’s a good story to tell about it.

Whether it is the experience of getting one for the first time, or the perspective of the tattoo artist, or the place on the body the tattoo ended up, or how Mom and Dad reacted the first time they saw that skull and bones tattoo on the arm of their son or daughter, we want to hear your story!

We are in the process of searching for the best tattoo stories. If you have one please send an email to the News-Press digital engagement editor Cory O'Donnell. Cory and our storytelling coaches will listen to your story and get you ready to go on stage at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers.

Submit your story using our online form or email Cory at codonnell@news-press.com.

In this Southwest Florida Storytellers, we will paint a picture of the tattoo scene.
