Tammy Sue Lommler, 54 years of age, passed away Wednesday January 10, 2018 at UH-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on August 28, 1963, she was the daughter of John and Barbara ( McCort ) Hanning. Tammy was a lifetime Hiram and Mantua area resident, and was a graduate of Crestwood Schools in 1981. She had been employed by the U.S. Postal Service at the Mantua, Newbury and Burton offices. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and the outdoors, and she will always be remembered as the little girl who on a family vacation to the Grand Canyon with her parents lost her doll, and so bravely retrieved the doll in an amazing manner.
Tammy is survived by her devoted husband Calvin A. Lommler at their home; her beloved parents John and Barbara Hanning of Mantua; her loving children Calvin Adam ( Yevette ) Lommler of Streetsboro and Ashley ( Michael ) Rudolph of Medina; dear brother Ron Hanning of Mantua, and her cherished grandchildren Kierra and Abraham. Tammy is also survived by her dear and caring friend Dana Vanderink of Hiram.
Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday January 16, 2018 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:30 P.M.-7:00 P.M. where her memorial service will begin at 7:00 P.M.
