Meanwhile, expelled AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala today sought the commission to provide the list of those who made statements against her, so that she could respond to them. A request in this regard was made by Sasikala's counsel.



A few days ago, accepting a request from Sasikala, the one man inquiry commission said it was ready to provide her with the details of evidence against her and a list of witnesses.

Sasikala was summoned by the justice A Arumughaswamy commission of inquiry, which wanted to question her on statements made by some witnesses it had examined.

The close aide of Jayalalithaa, who is now serving jail sentence at Parapana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru in a disproportionate assets case, told the commission through her lawyer Raja Senthur Pandian that she would file an affidavit only after she is given evidence provided by witnesses who have deposed before the one-man panel.
