Saturday Night Live is welcoming back one of its biggest stars to take over hosting duties.

Will Ferrell will get to monologue when he hosts the sketch show on Jan. 27, NBC announced Thursday. He'll presumably be on hand to promote his latest film Daddy's Home 2, but considering that came out in November, maybe he's just doing Saturday Night Live a favor.

Ferrell was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995-2002 and previously hosted three times. On the series he famously played Alex Trebeck, George W. Bush and James Lipton.

Saturday Night Live also revealed that Golden Globe winner Sam Rockwell will host on Jan. 13, with musical guest Halsey. It will be both of their first times on Saturday Night Live.

Jan. 20 will see Molly's Games Jessica Chastain and musical guest Troye Sivan also make their debuts on Saturday Night Live.
