Paper round-up: Man Utd hijack Sanchez bid, Conte to leave Chelsea, Everton target Walcott

EXPRESS SPORT brings you the best from today’s back pages.

Manchester United are preparing to hijack Manchester City’s pursuit of Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez – whose Emirates contract expires at the end of the season – is wanted by Pep Guardiola and the Premier League leaders are believed to have tabled a £20million bid for his signature.

However, Jose Mourinho’s side have now entered the race for Sanchez by submitting an offer in the region of £25m.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, according to the Daily Mail

Max Allegri and Luis Enrique are reportedly leading contenders to replace the Italian at the Blues helm.

And Everton are ready to make a £20m bid for Arsenal man Theo Walcott, claim the Daily Mirror.

The Gunners forward is struggling for game time at the Emirates and will consider a move to reignite his career.

However, Sam Allardyce’s side face competition from Southampton who are keen to re-sign the 28-year-old who left St Mary’s for Arsenal in 2006.
