Lance Moses Blackburn, age 41, of Findlay, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at his residence. Lance was born on October 22, 1976 in Lima, Ohio to Jerry and Debra (Cockrell) Blackburn. Jerry and Debra still survive, as well as Lance’s children, Chloe M. Blackburn, Sophie K. Blackburn and Maddox Moses Blackburn; a sister, Josette M. (Eric) Rodriguez; nieces Gabrielle and Payton Rodriguez; and his maternal grandmother, Thelma Cockrell of Michigan. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Moses Cockrell, and paternal grandparents Carl and Madelyn Blackburn.
Lance was a graduate of Cory-Rawson High School. He was employed at Triumph Thermal Systems in Forest, Ohio. He was manager of technical services, plant facilities and continuous improvements. His trade skill was a master electrician. Some of his favorite pastimes were coaching and watching his daughters play soccer and playing foosball with his son. He also took great pride in his Mustang GT and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Visitation for Lance’s friends and family will take place from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, January, 14, 2018 at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Sunday immediately after the visitation with Rev. Wade Milton officiating.
