Mattie's Call canceled: 84-year-old Gwinnett County man found

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A Mattie's call for a missing 84-year old  Gwinnett county man has been canceled.  

William J. Lang was last seen near his home on Wycliffe Way, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department. Lang wanted his wife to go driving around to look for a lost dog, but when his wife wasn’t looking, he grabbed the car keys and left the home. That was around 6 p.m. and officers spent the evening patrol the area searching for him or his vehicle.

Police said Lang was found safe early Friday morning.
