Maharashtra: Track fracture hits rail traffic

The rail traffic was affected on Thursday after a fracture was detected on the track connecting and in Ahmednagar's Ghargaon in

spokesperson Sunil Udasi, in a statement, said, "Due to rail breakage after the block for construction of subway between Belvandi and Visapur on Daund-section of on January 11, the mail and express trains were diverted and passenger trains were cancelled."

Seven trains that were diverted include Pune-Danapur Express, Pune-Howrah Azad Hind Express, Pune-Gorakhpur Express, Howrah-Azad Hind Express, Hatia-Special, Danapur-Express and Sainagar Shirdi.

Manmad-Passenger JCO and 51401 Pune-Passenger JCO were cancelled.
