Trivandrun, the marathon, is back. The fifth edition of the run, organised by the charity Save a Rupee Spread a Smile (Sarsas) to raise funds for patients of the Regional Cancer Centre here, will be held on Saturday.
The route map of the marathon, which will begin from Kowdiar Junction at 5 a.m., is Kowdiar Junction-Kuravankonam-Corporation Gate-Sreemoolam Club- Sasthamangalam Junction-Kowdiar. As many as 1,500 people have registered for the marathon, to be held in three categories —10-km ‘endurance run,’ 2-km ‘fun run,’ and 10-km ‘corporate relay’.
