MOST ACCURATE FORECAST: Drying out and heating back up
PHOENIX - After a wet winter storm, we're headed back to our regularly scheduled program of dry and unseasonably warm weather.
High pressure builds back in over the next few days, and we'll finish the week under sunny skies.
Daytime highs were able to touch 70 degrees this afternoon in Phoenix and we'll tack on a few more degrees to that by Friday.
Temperatures will approach record levels on Saturday afternoon with a forecast high of 77 degrees. The record for January 13th is 79 degrees which was set all the way back in 1904.
Some high clouds will move in this weekend, but we won't see any rain.
Instead, plan on mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions and highs in the mid 70s through at least the first half of next week.
