The celebration is still going.

Hundreds of South Texans came out to see Houston Astros pitchers Chris Devenski and Joe Musgrove, who were part of the annual Astros Caravan, which made a stop in the Coastal Bend on Thursday.

Devenski and Musgrove of the reigning World Series champions — both former Hooks — had a Q&A session at Rockport-Fulton High School to start the day before heading to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi.

The duo then visited Academy Sports + Outdoors in Corpus Christi for an autograph session.

The day ended with a meet-and-greet for Hooks season ticket holders at Whataburger Field, which included inflatables and games for kids as well as a DJ and concessions.

Devenski, who was with the Hooks for the 2014 and 2015 seasons, was part of the first no-hitter in Hooks history and last fall earned the win for the Astros in Game 2 of the World Series, the first World Series win in team history.

Houston won its first World Series title in seven games over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
