Lands’ End Inc. has won a contract to supply uniforms to 51,000 American Airlines employees.

Dodgeville-based Lands’ End said it will team with American Airlines and its union leaders to design the uniforms, and expects to begin testing them by October. After identifying any needed changes, Lands’ End plans to begin producing and rolling out the garments — 1.8 million items in all — in late 2019.

In October 2016, Lands’ End announced it would be supplying uniforms for 60,000 Delta Air Lines employees.
