“Guess How Much I Love You” and “I Love My Little Storybook” will be adapted in a special puppetry performance by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia at 9:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Friday at the Gunter Theater at the Peace Center. Parents who need a break can drop their kids off for Kids Night Out at the Pavilion 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Pavilion Recreation Complex in Taylors. The 2018 South Carolina International Auto Show is back in town, bringing more than 250 all-new vehicles, test drives, pre-production vehicles and more to the TD Convention Center. In addition to a variety of vehicles on display, the family friendly event will include an exhibition by PAWS Animal Wildlife Sanctuary, which rescues and rehabilitates wildlife. During the auto show, PAWS will rotate the display of four native South Carolina owl species, a number of hawks, raptors and other animals. Show hours are 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults with children 12 and younger admitted free. “Balloonacy,” a Wee Play Theatre performance, is at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Saturday at South Carolina Children’s Theatre at 1200 Pendleton St. The play is an “uplifting story about a magical balloon that insists on becoming friends,” according to the group’s website. Families with special needs kids can catch a special showing of "Paddington 2" at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Regal Hollywood Stadium 20 & RPX - Greenville as part of its My Way Matinee. These sensory friendly showings have lower sound and brighter lights. Tickets are $6.50.
