Curious about President Trump's health? You'll get to hear all about it next week.
The president is scheduled to have his physical with Dr. Ronny Jackson on Friday. Jackson will release a brief statement following the physical, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said Thursday.
Then, next week, he'll give a fuller readout and answer questions from reporters, Sanders said.
For the president's part, he isn't worried about the physical.
"I think it's going to go very well," he told reporters. And to that point, Trump said he'd be "very surprised" if it didn't.
During that same scrum, the president said, "It better go well; otherwise the stock market will not be happy."
The president's physical comes in the midst of outside debate over his mental fitness, following the release of a tell-all book that claimed his own staff was wondering about his mental prowess.
The White House, which has disavowed the book, said this week that the physical won't include a psychiatric exam and insisted Trump is "sharp as a tack."
