College women's hockey: UWS beats St. Scholastica to win seventh straight

Mikayla Goodin's goal 17 seconds in gave Wisconsin-Superior a lead over St. Scholastica on Wednesday night, and her second tally provided some breathing room for the Yellowjackets, who went on to double up the Saints 6-3 in a nonconference game at Wessman Arena.

Megan Dulong scored a goal and recorded two assists for UWS (11-4), which stretched its winning streak to seven games. The Yellowjackets haven't lost since Nov. 21. They outshot St. Scholastica 51-19 on Wednesday.

The Saints (6-3-4) fell behind 4-1 before Mac Johnson and Rachel Anderson scored in the second period to make it a one-goal game. But Goodin responded with her ninth of the season, keeping St. Scholastica winless over its past four games.
