China Medical University Seeks Global Talents
Jointly sponsored and administered by the Liaoning provincial government, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Ministry of Education of China, China Medical University (CMU) is currently the only independent medical university affiliated to the former Ministry of Health.
The university is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, with two campuses located at Shenbei and Heping, and 33 schools, departments and divisions. CMU is entitled to confer degrees on six disciplines covering medicine, education, science, engineering, philosophy and management, and grant doctorate in six primary subjects including basic medical sciences, clinical medicine, biology, dentistry, public health and preventive medicine and nursing. The university covers an area of 1.1105 million square meters in total with a building area of 0.7413 million square meters. It has three affiliated general hospitals and two specialized hospitals equipped with 10,785 inpatient beds and 240 dental units.

Positions: Academic leaders
Requirement:
① Must be a leader in the candidate's research fields in the international academic community with proven records of outstanding achievements; professor or the equivalent in well-known overseas universities or research institutions; preferably under the age of 55;
② Qualified for Top Talents titles in China;
③ Capable of obtaining and leading major national and international collaborative research projects.
Position: Group leaders or principle investigators
Requirements:
① A doctor's degree preferred from an overseas university; assistant professor or above in well-known overseas universities or research institutions; preferably under the age of 45;
② Must be recognizable in the candidate's research fields Outperforming the peers in terms of research achievements and showing the potential of edging into the top rank worldwide in some field;
③ Qualified for Middle-aged and Young Talents titles in China.
Position: Academic backbone and outstanding postdoctoral fellows
Requirements:
① Preferably a doctor's degree from an overseas university or a top university in China; over two consecutive years of overseas study/research experience; preferably under the age of 35;
② Demonstrated academic achievements and insights into research frontiers
③ Capable of applying for and leading national or international collaborative research projects.
Position: Foreign instructors
Requirements:
① Preferably a master’s degree; over two consecutive years of English teaching experience in overseas universities; preferably under the age of 55;
② A native English speaker with a standard accent; English teaching experience in China is preferred.
The university offers a generous compensation and housing allowance package and a pleasant work environment for global talents, who will also be eligible to enroll in medical insurance and social security according to national and provincial policies.

Annual salary (RMB 10K): 60-100
Housing allowance (RMB 10K): 100-200
Research funds (RMB 10K): 500-1000
Other compensations (RMB 10K): sufficient office and lab spaces; strong resources to establish a research team based on the candidate's needs, including quota of postgraduates and postdoctoral fellows; other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews.

Position: Highly promising researchers and outstanding postdoctoral fellows
Compensations:An annual salary of \RMB 180K minimum and a research fund of at least RMB 100K along with housing allowance and sufficient research resources; other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews.
Position: English instructors
Compensations: A pretax annual salary of RMB 200K minimum, free housing, payment for a round trip each year between Shenyang and the instructor's permanent residence, a year-end bonus, a standard insurance package, and meal allowance. Other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews.
