CLM provider Calero buys peer A&B Group

Calero Software, a provider of Communications Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and managed services, has taken over the A&B Group. Calero provides CLM products and services such as Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Managed Mobility Services (MMS) and Usage Management. A&B Group offers Telecom Expense Management (TEM) products in the EMEA region. The head office is in the Netherlands.

The acquisition was completed on 1 January, funded by Riverside Partners. Financial conditions have not been disclosed. Calero will strengthen Calero's local knowledge and presence in more than 30 countries and with more than 100 additional telecom providers. Ron Rijkenberg, co-founder and CEO of A&B Groep, will become the MD for Calero EMEA. He will report directly to Chris Jurasek, President & CEO of Calero Software. The A&B headquarters in Rossendal will become the EMEA headquarters for Calero.

Calero manages over USD 6 billion in annual telecom, mobility and cloud spending for more than 3,000 customers globally active in more than 40 countries. Calero also offers managed mobility services for more than 500,000 mobile devices.
