The eastside is losing two Sam's Club stores as others close nationally.
Enquirer media partner Fox19 has reported the Oakley and Loveland locations have closed abruptly.
Sam's Club has responded to the closures via Twitter: "After a thorough review of our existing portfolio, we’ve decided to close a series of clubs and better align our locations with our strategy," the tweet said.
Sam's Club is a chain of membership-only retail warehouse clubs owned and operated by Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
The Oakley Sam's Club is located at 4825 Marburg Ave. while the Loveland location is at 9570 Fields Ertel Road.
The full scope of the closures isn't known.
