Looking for a career change in 2018, but don’t know where to start? LinkedIn might have some ideas for you.

Recently, the professional networking website ranked the most promising jobs of 2018 and listed the 20 top jobs in the market. As you may have guessed, the bulk of jobs were in the tech industry, but the list also included a few jobs in the medical field.

Oh, and they all pay pretty well too.

The median base salaries ranged from $65,000 on the low side end to upwards of $250,000.

LinkedIn created the list based on a weighted score across five areas that included salary, career advancement, number of job openings in the U.S., year-over-year growth in job openings, and widespread regional availability.

They also looked at data from member profiles, job openings and salaries to rank the best jobs for career opportunity. Careers that had tied scores were moved higher up the scale based on job openings.

Last year, we wrote about the best jobs for 2017 and saw some crossover in the 2018 list. Data scientist, data engineer, solutions architect were all mentioned again, and each career saw an increase in median base salaries.

Solutions architects had the biggest increase in median base salary; it rose from $125,000 last year to $134,000 by 2018.
