MVP Logistics has nearly doubled the size of its Houston facility near George Bush Intercontinental Airport to more than 100,000 square feet.

"We have had a presence in Houston for seven years and in order to facilitate our company's growth opportunities, we decided that the time was right to upgrade and expand our facility," vice president of sales Tim Kroska said in an announcement.

"The Houston area was our first expansion beyond our two Minneapolis locations, and we plan to continue to broaden our presence to any metro area where we can meet a need."

The expansion at 8411 FM 1960 in Humble totaled 50,000 square feet. The company provides supply chain and logistics services, including trucking, domestic freight, international freight, distribution and fulfillment and project management.
