Three charged after pot dispensary raid in Wilson Heights

Three people have been arrested after a marijuana dispensary raid Wednesday, Toronto Police say.

Police executed a search warrant at Canna Club on Wilson Ave. at approximately 2:50 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, seizing 1.4 kg of marijuana leaves, 301.8 g of marijuana oil, and $1,330 cash.

Jessica Paul, 20, and Habte Sami, 35, and Gurnek Bassi, 23, have all been charged with one count each of possession of a schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.

All three are set to appear in court at Old City Hall on Feb. 22, police say.
