Azerkosmos to launch 2nd telecom satellite in April

Azerbaijjan state-owned satellite operator Azerkosmos plans to launch its Azerspace-2 satellite in April, reports Trend citing Rashid Nabiyev, the CEO of the operator. 

France's Arianespace, which launched the Azerspace/Africasat-1a satellite, will launch the new satellite. The Azerspace-2/Intelsat-38 satellite will be based at 45 degrees East. Space Systems Loral (SSL) is in charge of construction works on the satellite.
