It’s the show that’s had its viewers on the edge of their seats for its first two series and now Hunted is back for its third run on Channel 4.
The show sees willing members of the public be set the challenge of going on the run for a month, with the sole aim of avoiding the crack team of ‘hunters’ will be hoping to follow their every move.
Celebrities have also got in the action with The Wanted stars Jay and Siva escaping the hunters right at the death for a celebrity series in the summer.
The hunters try to use the same methods of surveillance employed by the state, including cyber expertise and interrogating friends and family.
They also use CCTV cameras and even hack into phones and social media sites to gain information on the fugitives.
Those that remain on the run after 28 days and reach the secret extraction point win a share of £100,000.
There’s been a distinct lack of Newcastle contestants on Hunted so far. Do you fancy changing that?
