BREAKING: Multiple armed police units 'LOCK DOWN' London estate after 'shooting'

MULTIPLE armed police units have cordoned off roads after a shooting around the Stamford Hill Estates in London, it has been reported.

Armed police have put the scene on 'lockdown'

A 25-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police attended the scene at 21.39 after reports of gunshots heard on Lynmouth Road.

They subsequently attended a north London hospital after being informed that the man had self-presented himself with gunshot injuries.

It is not currently known how many people were involved in the incident but no arrests have been made.

It comes just hours after police attended a shooting in Lordship Road in the same London borough.
