RAJOURI: In order to provide best and free health care facilities to the poor and downtrodden people of border districts of Rajouri Poonch, a free medical camp was organised here at Distt Hospital Rajouri. The free medical camp which organised by SMVD Super Speciality Hospital Katra in collaboration with Rotary Club Rajouri was inaugurated by DDC Rajouri Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary. While expressing gratitude towards Rotary Club and SMVD Super Speciality Hospital Katra DDC said that it’s very good and great initiative to organise such a high level free medical camp for the poor people of Rajouri and it will provide great help to the needy.
In this camp team of doctors from Narayana Hospital Katra Dr Neeraj Mahajan Cardiologist, Dr Shelly Kandharie Optholomigist and Dr Ram Kinker Jaha Bone & Joints specialist were present for the poor patients.
In the day long camp about 132 patients were diagnosed for Ortho related diseases, 176 patients were diagnosed for eye problems, and about 98 patients were diagnosed for heart related diseases. In the camp free ECG, blood sugar test, Blood pressure and free Echo tests were conducted free of cost by the specialist doctors and were advised further treatment .
The said camp was also attended by Medical Superintendent DH Rajouri Dr Mehmood Ahmed. Rotary Club Zonal Head K.K Langer, President Lokesh Bakshi, Secretary Umesh Sharma besides, Rotarians Ankur Gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Sadik Khan, Navneet Bhari, Amandeep Singh, Rafiq Mir and others were also present.
