Mentor Public Library

Mentor Public Library is offering free classes to people who have a smartphone, eReader or tablet but aren’t sure how to get the most out of them.

These classes are open to everyone.

The first session is for those with tablets (including iPads) and smartphones. It will be 10 a.m. on Jan. 20, at the Main Branch — 8215 Mentor Ave. in Mentor.

The second session is 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 23, also at the Main Branch. It’s specifically for those with Kindles and Kindle Fires.

People can register for the class on the library’s website, www.mentorpl.org, or by calling the library at 440-255-8811, ext. 247.

With a little instruction, that device can be a repository for ebooks, magazines, music, audiobooks and even videos.
